Program
Walk through the winter scenery of Eobi Valley
In the morning, meet at your chosen spot in Hongdae, Myeongdong or Dongdaemun and travel about 1.5 hours to Gapyeong in a heated vehicle. At Eobi Valley, famous for its frozen waterfalls and ice walls in winter, take a short walk of about 1 hour and capture the winter scenery. Lunch is at a local restaurant at your own expense.
Choose Alpaca World or
Petite France & Italian Village
With the Alpaca World option, you can walk with and feed alpacas at a mountain ranch, and meet other animals such as deer, rabbits, goats, ostriches, camels, owls and eagles.
With the Petite France & Italian Village option, explore the colorful buildings and photo spots of a French-themed village inspired by "The Little Prince," then see exhibits themed on Pinocchio and Leonardo da Vinci at the Italian Village.
Take a ferry to Nami Island
After a short ferry ride to Nami Island, explore the island along its tree-lined paths, riverside walkways, gardens and sculptures. You can walk around, rent a bicycle or ride the Sky Bike (at extra cost).
Enjoy the winter lighting festival
at the Garden of Morning Calm
In the evening, visit the Garden of Morning Calm, a large arboretum in Gapyeong, and spend about 1.5 hours enjoying its winter lighting festival (Five-Color Starlight Garden Exhibition). Then return to Seoul, with drop-off around 9:50 PM an 8-minute walk from Hongik Univ. Station.
