From Seoul: Elysian Gangchon Ski & Nami Island and Eobi Ice Valley Day Tour

Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort

Depending on the option you choose, meet at Hongik Univ. Station Exit 8, Myeongdong Station Exit 4 or Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station Exit 9, then travel by bus to Elysian Gangchon (about 2 hours 10 minutes). An English-speaking tour guide accompanies you.

Elysian Gangchon is one of the closest ski resorts to Seoul. Eight of its 10 slopes are for beginners or intermediates (2 beginner, 1 beginner-intermediate, 5 intermediate, 2 advanced), so it is easier than other ski resorts, and there are restaurants and snack shops inside the resort.

Ski, snowboard or sled
with the package you choose

Spend about 3 hours 30 minutes at the resort. The ski packages (ski + moving walkway, ski + lift) include ski equipment rental and a 1-hour basic ski lesson, while the snowboard packages (snowboard + moving walkway, snowboard + lift) include snowboard rental and a pass but no snowboard lesson. The sled package includes sled rental, and if you do not choose an additional package, you will have free time at the resort. For safety reasons, the lift pass is not recommended for first-time skiers or snowboarders.

Stroll the tree-lined paths of Nami Island

After about 40 minutes by bus, take the included ferry to Nami Island. Popular with travelers since becoming known as a drama filming location, the romantic and peaceful island invites you to walk along its tree-lined paths and take photos for about 3 hours. The Nami Island zipline is not included.

See the winter scenery
at Eobi Ice Valley

Travel about 30 minutes by bus to Eobi Ice Valley, known for its winter scenery, and stay for about 30 minutes. It is a great place to feel Korean winter and take photos. Then return to Seoul (about 1 hour 20 minutes); the drop-off point depends on the option you choose. Due to traffic, the Hongik Univ. Station option drops off in Dongdaemun (in front of Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Dongdaemun).
