From Seoul: Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Starfield Suwon & Korean Folk Village Day Tour with Admission

In the morning, you'll be picked up at Hongik University Station or Myeongdong Station and travel to Suwon. A professional driver-guide accompanies you all day as you visit Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, Starfield Library, and the Korean Folk Village.

Explore Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong Haenggung Palace

At Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built under King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty, see its walls, gates, watch posts, and military structures, and enjoy the views as you walk along part of the fortress (about 1 hour).

Next, head to Hwaseong Haenggung Palace inside the fortress. This temporary palace was used by King Jeongjo when he visited Suwon. Explore the palace grounds and learn about traditional Korean architecture, royal history, and the Joseon Dynasty (about 1 hour).

Enjoy free time
at Starfield Library

Spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time at Starfield Suwon. Look around Starfield Library with its huge floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, shop or relax, and take memorable photos.

Stroll through a Joseon-era village
at the Korean Folk Village

Finally, visit the Korean Folk Village (about 1 hour and 30 minutes). Walk through a recreated traditional village with historic houses, workshops, markets, and cultural spaces, and experience how people lived in the Joseon Dynasty along with traditional customs and folk culture. After the tour, return to Seoul by vehicle and get off at Hongik University Station or Myeongdong Station.
