After pickup from your hotel in central Seoul, ride about 1 hour in an air-conditioned van. At Imjingak Peace Park, explore the Mangbaedan Altar, the Freedom Bridge and the Jangdan steam locomotive with your guide while learning about the history of division.

Face North Korea at the 3rd Tunnel and Dora Observatory

Spend about 1 hour each at the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel and Dora Observatory, where you look out toward North Korea. Then visit the Unification Village for about 30 minutes.

Optionally, join a live talk with a North Korean defector. Browse exhibits showing daily life in North Korea and watch a short documentary, then hear a defector's escape story followed by a Q&A session. The fee is paid separately on site.

Enjoy a mountain vegetable lunch and stroll Bogwangsa Temple

At a local restaurant near Bogwangsa, enjoy about 1 hour of traditional mountain cuisine made with seasonal wild greens. Meat options are available, and your guide helps you choose and order. Lunch is at your own expense.

After lunch, take a quiet 30-minute walk around Bogwangsa, a traditional mountain temple set in the forested hills of Paju, and learn briefly about its history, architecture and role in Korean Buddhist culture.

Cross the Majang Lake Suspension Bridge

Stop at Majang Lake for about 40 minutes to cross the suspension bridge, walk along the lakeside and take photos. At the end of the tour, ride about 1 hour back to Seoul by van.
