This private tour departs from your hotel in Seoul and takes you to the top sights of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) with a private vehicle and a dedicated guide. Stroll through Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park and the Freedom Bridge, descend into the Third Tunnel secretly dug by North Korea, and look out over North Korea, including Gijeong-dong village, from Dora Observatory. Choose Option B to also visit the 150-meter Gamaksan Suspension Bridge.

Depart from your Seoul hotel and
explore the DMZ by private vehicle
You will be picked up from your hotel anywhere in Seoul and dropped back at your hotel after the tour. A private vehicle and a dedicated guide are reserved just for your group.
Parking fees, fuel and admission fees are included, so there are few extra costs on the day. During the drive, your guide shares the history of the DMZ and the division of the Korean Peninsula.
Walk through Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park and the Freedom Bridge

Your first stop is Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park, built for families separated by the Korean War. Explore its memorials and monuments as you learn about Korea's history of division.
Next, walk across the Freedom Bridge, where prisoners of war returned after the Korean War ended. Your guide tells you the stories behind this landmark.
Descend into the Third Tunnel and
look out over North Korea from Dora Observatory

Head to the Third Tunnel, secretly dug by North Korea in preparation for a possible invasion, and go down inside. Get a close-up sense of military history and the ongoing tension between North and South Korea.
At Dora Observatory, take in views of North Korea, including Gijeong-dong (the propaganda village), as your guide explains the significance of the border and life beyond it. Tongilchon, a civilian village, is also part of the route.
Option B adds the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge

If you book Option B, the DMZ route is followed by a visit to the 150-meter suspension bridge on Gamaksan Mountain. It is a great spot for photos and a short walk, with views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Option A does not include the bridge.
※ The order of the itinerary may change depending on traffic, weather, operating conditions or site availability.
※ Visibility of North Korea from Dora Observatory depends on weather and visibility and is not guaranteed.
