Get ready for your trip
with a local guide on your first day in Seoul
This orientation tour is made for first-time visitors to Seoul. As you walk, you will get an overview of the city, learn how to use transportation such as T-money and taxi apps, and pick up local culture with ease. You can also review and refine the rest of your Korea itinerary in person with your guide.
Meet Seoul's history at palaces and hanok villages

On the small-group Royal Palace & Bukchon course (3 hours), you will tour Gyeongbokgung from Wednesday to Monday, or UNESCO World Heritage-listed Changdeokgung on Tuesdays, with your guide before walking through Bukchon Hanok Village. On the small-group Night Palace & Cheonggyecheon, Ikseon-dong course, you will walk past the palace, along Cheonggyecheon Stream, and through Ikseon-dong in the evening to feel Seoul's nighttime atmosphere.
Walk the Inwangsan trail and the alleys of Seochon

On the small-group Inwangsan & Seochon course (3 hours), you will follow the Seoul City Wall on an easy Inwangsan hiking trail and stroll through the hanok and alleys of Seochon. You can take a break at a cafe converted from a former guard post while enjoying city views (cafe costs are extra).
Plan your own route on a private tour

On the 3-hour private tour, choose between palaces or trails, and on the 6-hour full-day private tour, explore Seoul's must-see spots along with travel advice. Tell your guide where you want to go, such as Gyeongbokgung (Wed–Mon), Changdeokgung (Tue), Bukchon Hanok Village, local markets, N Seoul Tower, DDP, or an Inwangsan hike, and they will create a personalized itinerary.
A sample 6-hour itinerary starts at the Seoul Museum of History and Gyeonghuigung Palace, passes through local neighborhoods to the Inwangsan trail and a guard-post cafe, continues through Suseongdong Valley and Seochon, and ends at Gyeongbokgung and Bukchon. The schedule can also be adjusted to see the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony or try on hanbok.
※ The itinerary may change depending on weather, local events, and your interests.
