This product is an admission ticket to the Shanghai Submarine Exhibition Hall, the Huangpu branch of the China National Maritime Museum. The hall is located at the former No. 3 Dock of Jiangnan Shipyard along the Huangpu River and is a national defense education site that displays a decommissioned submarine.

Meet the Type 035G submarine Great Wall 191

The main exhibit, Great Wall 191, is a Type 035G, part of China's first generation of domestically designed conventional submarines. Measuring 76 m long and 7.6 m wide, it guarded Chinese waters for more than 30 years.

Explore seven compartments inside the submarine

Go inside the restored submarine and explore seven compartments, including the command room, torpedo room, power room and crew quarters. See original equipment such as the periscope, sonar system and torpedo launchers, and get a sense of how the crew worked and lived in such tight quarters.

Learn about submarines and naval history through themed exhibits

The dock preserves the industrial heritage of Jiangnan Shipyard. Themed exhibits introduce submarine structure, the principles of underwater combat and the development of the Chinese navy.
