Enjoy Beijing’s night views at Tiananmen Square
and Jingshan Park

Drive along Chang’an Avenue, Beijing’s political heart, stroll around Tiananmen Square and browse Qianmen shopping and food street. Climb Jingshan Hill for a panoramic night view of the Forbidden City and Beijing’s central axis.

Choose from the National Centre for the Performing Arts, which seems to float on an artificial lake, Shichahai (Houhai) with its lake and traditional hutongs, the National Stadium, the CCTV Headquarters and the LED-lit CBD. On request, you can stop at the National Stadium for photos.

Add dinner, hutong food or a show

With the dinner option, visit three or four night spots and then dine at a local restaurant, choosing from Yunnan cuisine, Peking duck, hot pot, dim sum or Sichuan food. With the hutong food option, combine sightseeing with a walk through the hutongs to taste Beijing street food such as jianbing, lamb skewers, malatang, soup dumplings and erguotou.

With the show option, enjoy a cultural performance first and then continue with your night tour. The standard show is the acrobatics performance held every night; kung fu and Peking opera are not performed daily, so please request them in advance.

See the Great Wall at sunset and by night

The Jinshanling Great Wall option takes you to a section popular for hiking and photography, where you can watch the walls glow at sunset and enjoy the quiet night view. The Gubei Water Town & Simatai Great Wall option explores Gubei Water Town with its canals and traditional architecture before you ride a cable car up to the Simatai Great Wall for sunset and night views. The Simatai Great Wall can be visited at night all year round.
