Enter the Louvre without waiting
with an expert guide

Meet your guide at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, right across from the Louvre, and enter the museum without queuing. The collection is too vast to see all at once, but your art historian guide, who knows the museum well, leads you along a route focused on the most iconic works, so you won't get lost.

See masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo

Admire Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, Michelangelo's Slaves and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, a 2nd-century BC work called "the greatest masterpiece of Hellenistic sculpture." Passing through Italian sculpture, the classical Greek art rooms and the French painting galleries, you'll also hear stories about artists such as Antonio Canova, Théodore Géricault, Eugène Delacroix and Jacques-Louis David. Find out why the Mona Lisa is considered one of the most important works in the world.

Learn the history of the Louvre Palace through your headset

A personal headset lets you hear your guide's commentary at any time. While admiring ornate stonework and intricate frescoes, you'll learn about the history of the Louvre building, once a palace, and the royal dramas that once unfolded here.
