The Orange World eSIM comes with a data plan, a French phone number, voice calls and SMS. Please install and use it in the order below. The actual steps may vary depending on the OS version and device model.

[Install eSIM]

Each QR code can only be used on one device. Once installed, the eSIM is bound to that device and cannot be transferred to another.

Method ① In-app installation for iOS (not available on Android)

• Update the Trip.com app to the latest version and your iPhone to iOS 17.4 or higher, and you can install the eSIM directly within the app.
• Open the Trip.com app > Account > All Bookings > tap the "Install" button.

Method ② Scan the QR code or enter the eSIM details manually

• 1. Open the QR code attachment from the order in the Trip.com app, and print it in advance or save it to another electronic device.
• 2. Open "Cellular (iOS)" or "SIM Card Management (Android)" in Settings.
• 3. While the phone is connected to the internet, tap "Add eSIM" and scan the QR code to install.
• 4. If you can't scan the code, enter the "SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code" from the order voucher to install.
• 5. If the steps above fail, your phone may be locked by your home carrier (unable to use other carrier networks). Contact your carrier to unlock it before using the eSIM.

[Using eSIM]

• 1. Turn off the primary SIM card and turn on the eSIM network.
• 2. Enable "Cellular (iOS)" or "SIM Card (Android)".
• 3. Enter the PIN (default: 0000).
• 4. Turn on "Data Roaming".
• 5. If you still cannot connect to the internet, set the APN below and restart your phone.

[APN settings]

• iOS: Settings > Cellular Data > Cellular Data Network > Enter APN
• Android: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names (APN) > Edit or add APN
• Enter APN: orange, then restart your phone

[Self-service queries]

• Check phone number: dial 225
• Check data balance/credit/SMS: dial #123#
• Calls within Europe: dial directly
• Europe to other countries: dial '+' (or 00) + country code + number
• For numbers starting with 0 (e.g. UK 020, France 01), omit the first 0 after the country code. Example: French number 0123456789 → +33 123456789

[Customer support]
