Take a chartered bus from Tokyo to Tsuchiura in Ibaraki Prefecture on this day tour to watch the 95th Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition, considered one of Japan's three greatest fireworks festivals. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, about 20,000 fireworks light up the sky from 17:30 to 20:00, including the Starmine competition to decide "Japan's best Starmine." Hard-to-get paid seats (Area C) are secured in advance, so you can watch comfortably while seated. The round-trip bus also takes the stress out of getting to and from the crowded venue.

from a paid seat
Now in its 95th year, the Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition is, together with the Omagari competition, one of Japan's signature fireworks events. About 20,000 fireworks are launched from 17:30 to 20:00 on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Seats in paid Area C are secured in advance for all tour participants, and since you watch while seated, it stays comfortable even for a long show.

A Starmine is a large-scale display that launches dozens to hundreds of fireworks in rapid succession. Tsuchiura hosts a Starmine competition where fireworks artisans combine hundreds of different shells and fire them with precise timing and rhythm. A spectacular Starmine finale brings the festival to a close.
