Look down over the Forbidden City from the summit

From the top of Jingshan Hill, you can see the entire Forbidden City in one sweeping view. This is a self-guided entry ticket, so you can stay as long as you like and enjoy the scenery. A full visit takes about 1–2 hours.

Night lighting on Friday and Saturday nights and public holidays

The park's special night lighting operates only on Friday nights, Saturday nights and official public holidays. On other days (e.g. Sundays), the lights are not turned on. The park officially closes at 9 PM, and as closing time approaches, park staff will guide visitors toward the exits.
