The Zabbaleen are descendants of farmers who came to Cairo from Upper Egypt in the 1940s in search of work, and they have made a living by collecting and sorting the city's waste. Visit the early churches and synagogue of Old Cairo
In Old Cairo, explore some of the earliest Christian churches in the Middle East, built from around 300 AD. Visit the Church of Abu Serga, the Church of St. Barbara, the Hanging Church and the old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue. The tour ends with a return to your hotel at around 1:00 PM.
