Cairo: Grand Egyptian Museum Evening Private Tour - Dinner Included

Get picked up from your hotel in the afternoon
and head to the museum's evening opening

After pickup from your hotel between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, travel to the Grand Egyptian Museum in a private air-conditioned vehicle with your private Egyptologist guide. Arrive as the museum lights begin to illuminate the building and start your visit in the evening atmosphere.

Admire the Hanging Obelisk and the statue
of Ramses II under the lights

Start beneath the illuminated Hanging Obelisk and enter the Grand Hall to meet the colossal statue of Ramses II in soft ambient light. Then climb the Grand Staircase and see key highlights such as the 10 statues of King Senusret, the Ptolemaic king and queen, the Victory Stela of Merneptah and the royal offerings, with commentary from your guide.

Explore the Tutankhamun Galleries
and the Khufu Boat Museum

Walk through the 12 main galleries, where Egyptian history is presented through sound, light and curated storytelling, then move on to the Tutankhamun Galleries, where more than 5,000 artifacts reveal the life and legacy of the boy king. Also visit the Khufu Boat Museum, where ancient wooden vessels are displayed in a calm evening setting.

End the evening with dinner

After the visit, relax over dinner before returning to your hotel by private vehicle. The Grand Atrium and gift shop are also part of the tour.
