A sky lantern release experience at New Greenpia Tsunan, a resort in Tsunan, Niigata Prefecture. Release lanterns carrying your wishes all together into the night sky over the snowy landscape and enjoy a magical view. One lantern (for 2 people) and hot spring bathing tickets for 2 adults are included, so you can also use the hot spring before or after the experience. After the experience, the photo spot is a great place for souvenir photos, and the activity can be enjoyed by all ages, from children to adults.
Program
Release a lantern filled with wishes
into the snowy night sky
Watch lanterns rise into the night sky over the silver snowscape as you release your own lantern carrying your wishes. Two people release one lantern together, and after the experience you can take souvenir photos at the photo spot.
How the experience works
Gather at the hotel front desk and complete check-in by 30 minutes before the start time. The staff will then explain how to write your wish and how to launch the lantern. After the explanation, all participants release their lanterns into the night sky together, and the group disperses after the experience.
Enjoy the hot spring before or after
Hot spring bathing tickets for 2 adults are included. The hot spring is available from 12:00 to 21:00, and you can use it either before or after the lantern experience.
