From Pindul Cave to Drini Beach
enjoy Gunungkidul's rivers and coast in one day

After pickup from your hotel in Yogyakarta, you drive about 1 hour 40 minutes to Pindul Cave, go cave tubing and river tubing on the Oyo River, and then visit Drini Beach on the south coast on this tour of about 10 hours. An English-speaking driver and guide accompany you, and you spend about 2 hours at Pindul Cave and about 2 hours at Drini Beach. Pindul Cave and river tubing tickets are not included and must be paid in cash on site.

Float along the underground river of Pindul Cave

At Pindul Cave, you settle into a tube and drift slowly along the underground river that runs through the cave. You can see stalactites and stalagmites up close, lit by natural light coming through openings in the cave. You spend about 2 hours at Pindul Cave, including a guided tour, photo time, free time and swimming.

Continue tubing on the forest-lined Oyo River

After leaving the cave, you go river tubing on the Oyo River. Drift slowly down the calm river flowing through lush forest and take in the scenery around you. You will get wet, so bringing a change of clothes and a towel is a good idea.

Relax at Drini Beach and its small island

After the water activities, you drive about 1 hour to Drini Beach on the south coast. Drini Beach is known for a small island you can walk to when the tide is low. Spend about 2 hours exploring the rock formations or relaxing on the sand while enjoying the ocean views. At the end of the day, the driver takes you back to your hotel (about 2.5 hours).
