After pickup from your accommodation, start the day at Setumbu Hill, a popular Borobudur sunrise spot. After sunrise, visit Borobudur Temple, Merapi Volcano, and Prambanan Temple in turn before being dropped back at your accommodation. The tour lasts about 12 hours in a small group of up to 10 people.

Climb Setumbu Hill and wait for the sunrise. As the fresh morning air clears the mist, sunlight spreads over the volcanoes and terraced fields. If you choose the inside-temple sunrise option, you watch the sunrise inside Borobudur Temple and breakfast is included.

After sunrise, you can explore Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the largest Buddhist monument in the world. Enter early as the gates open, accompanied by a local guide at the temple.

Ride a jeep on Merapi Volcano

Next, ride a jeep to Merapi Volcano, one of the best-known volcanoes in Indonesia, and take photos against the volcanic landscape. Mount Merapi entrance and jeep rental are included.

End the tour at Prambanan Temple

Finally, visit Prambanan Temple, built in the 10th century. It is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia, dedicated to Shiva. Explore the three temples honoring the Hindu trinity of Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, decorated with stone carvings depicting the Ramayana epic. After the tour, your driver takes you back to your accommodation.
