to see Mount Merapi at night

You are picked up from your hotel in Yogyakarta around 7–8 PM and join a group tour with travelers from around the world to the Arum Sari viewpoint on Mount Merapi. Wait for the lava at a safe viewpoint

When you arrive at a safe and comfortable viewpoint for watching lava flows in the evening and at night, take photos, look around and wait for lava to flow down from the volcano. Away from the busy city, you can quietly enjoy Mount Merapi at night.

Relax with warm tea and banana fritters

With the all-inclusive option, you can taste fried snacks including banana fritters, a Merapi specialty, and warm tea brought from the village while you wait. The shared option does not include the entrance ticket, snacks or drinks.
