Highlights
This tour takes you around Koh Hong and the surrounding islands off Krabi by speedboat in one day. Swim and sunbathe on Koh Hong, surrounded by limestone cliffs and emerald water, and cruise by boat into the Hong Lagoon inside the island. You can climb the 360° viewpoint on Koh Hong to look over the sea, and also stop at the small islands of Koh Pakbia and Lao Lading. A Thai lunch box and round-trip hotel pickup are included, and with the kayak option you can paddle across the clear water around the island.
Program
Get picked up at your hotel
and head to the Hong Islands by speedboat
You'll be picked up by minivan from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nammao, Klong Muang or Tubkaek Beach and taken to the pier. If you're staying at Railay Beach, you'll join the speedboat at Railay East floating pier. The speedboat takes about 30 minutes to reach the Hong Islands, known as some of the most beautiful islands in Krabi.
Swim on Koh Hong and climb the 360° viewpoint
The first stop is Koh Hong, a crescent-shaped uninhabited island. Home to birds, white-handed gibbons and large monitor lizards, it offers about 2.5 hours of free time to swim and sunbathe on the white sand beach. From the highest viewpoint on Koh Hong, you can enjoy a 360° view of the surrounding sea and islands.
Lunch is a Thai lunch box with seasonal fruit at Koh Hong's twin bays. If you booked the kayak option, you'll go kayaking around Koh Hong for about 1.5 hours.
Cruise into the cliff-lined Hong Lagoon
Inside Koh Hong lies the wide Hong Lagoon. Its entrance is a passage between tall cliffs, making it a great spot for photos as you enter by boat. You'll cruise around the lagoon for about 20 minutes.
Enjoy the sea at Koh Pakbia and Lao Lading
At Koh Pakbia, take photos and swim at the sandbar revealed at low tide. At Lao Lading, a small limestone island with high cliffs and a sheltered beach, you'll have about 40 minutes for swimming and snorkeling. The speedboat anchors close to the shore so you can get on and off the beach easily.
After the tour, the speedboat brings you back to Ao Nang pier, and a minivan takes you back to your hotel.
