Program
Head from Ao Nang to the Phi Phi Islands
by speedboat
After pickup from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Klong Muang Beach or Ao Nam Mao Beach, transfer to the pier. Board a speedboat at Ao Nang Beach and cross the Andaman Sea to the Phi Phi Islands. The tour runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Visit Pileh Lagoon and Maya Bay
The first stop is Pileh Lagoon, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Spend about 30 minutes swimming in the calm emerald water or enjoying the view.
Next, visit Maya Bay, made famous by the movie The Beach. Stroll along the soft white sand for about 45 minutes and take photos against the cliffs. Maya Bay closes every year from August 1 to October 1 for restoration, and another island is visited instead during that period.
Snorkel at Loh Samah Bay and Viking Cave
Swim and snorkel at Loh Samah Bay, popular for its shallow water and rich marine life. Viking Cave, known for ancient paintings and bird's nest harvesting, has restricted entry, but you can snorkel among coral reefs and schools of tropical fish in the surrounding waters. At Monkey Beach, watch monkeys in their natural habitat.
Lunch buffet on Koh Phi Phi Don and relaxing on Bamboo Island
Around noon, arrive at Tonsai Bay on Koh Phi Phi Don for a restaurant lunch buffet with local and international dishes. You have about 1.5 hours to stroll the island or shop.
After lunch, head to Bamboo Island with its white sand and turquoise water for about 45 minutes of swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Then return to Ao Nang by speedboat in about 50 minutes and transfer back to your hotel by car.
