Kota Kinabalu RAID Try Dive - 2 Dives in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park & Lunch

Board a boat at DBKK Jetty
and head to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park

Meet the Borneo Dream staff at DBKK Jetty in central Kota Kinabalu and travel by boat to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). With 5 islands and clear waters, the park is a great place for beginners to try scuba diving for the first time. Around 10:00 AM, fill in the paperwork and attend a short scuba diving session led by the instructor.

Learn the skills in a shallow bay and make your first dive

From 10:30 AM, complete a basic skills session in confined water, then enjoy your first dive in a shallow, safe bay of one of the marine park islands. Quality diving equipment, towels and refreshments are provided.

Have lunch and relax on an island

From noon to 1:30 PM, have lunch and relax on Mamutik Island or Sapi Island.

Make a second dive along the reef down to 12 m

At 1:30 PM, after a briefing, gear up and make your second dive with the instructor along the reef to a maximum depth of about 12 m (40 ft). Sabah lies in the Coral Triangle, so you can see a wide variety of corals and tropical marine life such as clownfish. The boat leaves at 3:00 PM and returns to DBKK Jetty around 3:30 PM.
