Kota Kinabalu: Surim Firefly Tour

I think it would be good to go with women or parents. First of all, the distance is close... It's tiring after driving for 2 hours. Usually, it's the last day of the trip when I go to see fireflies... First of all, I have several firefly tour places in Kota Kinabalu... But control the firefly population because it's a natural area. It's hard to do, and if so, I wanted to go to a place where the facilities were clean. In conclusion, I think it was a good choice. I felt that it was a place that the director cared about and managed. It was nice to sit and watch the sunset, and there was also a photo zone, so the waiting time wasn't boring (no need to invest time and money to take a picture of a swing and take a picture of the swing here, it looks pretty) I didn't like it lol The bathroom was clean (important) It's not a hotel-level bathroom, but it's about the size of a Korean restaurant bathroom! There are a lot of people in the local famous firefly spot bathroom, but I was worried because it was messy in one room, but this place is clean in two rooms, and there are tissues. Above all, the Korean buffet was better than I thought... I didn't eat anything for 4 days because the local food didn't suit my taste, but my parents also enjoyed it. Enjoy your meal. Pancakes and seasoned cucumbers are all completely Korean taste...ㅠ_ㅠb I still regret adding pork belly... I saw fireflies for the first time since I was born, and my parents loved them so much. There were so many of them attached to trees. I didn't get tricked into flying there (not that I wasn't there! I've seen enough) and I wasn't disappointed because I saw a lot of real stars. They say you can't see many fireflies during a thunderstorm, but I still had a fun tour!! I also saw a lot of fireflies that I thought I wouldn't be able to see because of the rain!!! I was very satisfied with the pickup driver, Korean owner, Korean food, and even the atmosphere of the tour location!! If you want to make fun memories and take pictures of your life in Kota Kinabalu, I recommend the Surim Garden firefly tour!! The insect museum is very interesting, and if it doesn’t rain, the sunset will be pretty!!

I had such a fun time on the tour!
 At first I thought I was just seeing fireflies,
 There are really well-made photo zone courses where you can take great photos along the way.
 People who like photography will definitely love this.

 And the Korean buffet that I wasn't expecting was really good.
 There's bulgogi, japchae, and even kimchi, so people who go with their parents will probably be completely satisfied!

 When I went in by boat after the sun had set
 I was speechless when I saw the fireflies twinkling like fire on the trees.
 It doesn't show up well in photos, but it's truly moving when you see it with your own eyes.

During the short 3 nights and 5 days trip to Kota Kinabalu, there aren't many things to do outside the resort, so I ended up using a tour, and the firefly tour is definitely a must-do. I think it's a great tour product to wrap up on the last day. During my trip, I was in the typhoon zone, so I couldn't see the beautiful sunset... So I couldn't get any great photos, and there was heavy rain and wind along the way, but I went to see the fireflies anyway, and fortunately, I was able to capture the beautiful scene with my eyes, so it was a fortunate tour. There are many other places for the firefly tour, but there's no place that can be done in such a short time and in such a close distance, so this product alone can be a strong point. It was even more convenient because the guide was Korean. When I chose the tour product before the trip, I worried a lot about what to do if I couldn't see the fireflies because it was so close to the city... But I was able to see enough fireflies to be enchanted. I highly recommend this tour to those who want to enjoy other things in the morning and daytime and then quickly do the firefly tour. The photo points set up at the firefly tour site would have been really nice if the weather had been nice.
