Get picked up at your hotel in Vang Vieng town
and head to the take-off site
You'll be picked up at your hotel lobby or entrance in Vang Vieng town and travel about 30 minutes by tuk-tuk to the take-off site. Pickup for the sunrise flight is between 5:00 and 6:00 AM local time, and for the sunset flight between 4:00 and 4:30 PM. A staff member will contact you closer to your travel date to confirm the exact time.
Fly over Vang Vieng in a hot air balloon
Board the balloon with an experienced pilot and fly for about 30 minutes. Look down on Vang Vieng's karst landscape and village scenery from the sky. Choose a sunrise or sunset flight and enjoy the ever-changing colors of the sky.
Receive your flight certificate and return to your hotel
After the flight, you'll receive a hot air balloon flight certificate. You'll then travel about 30 minutes by tuk-tuk back to your hotel in Vang Vieng town.
