Get picked up at your hotel and head to the take-off site
You'll be picked up from the hotel in Vang Vieng town you selected when booking, then travel about 15 minutes by tuk-tuk to the take-off site. You can choose a sunrise flight departing at 5:30 AM or a sunset flight departing at 4:30 PM.
Rise into the sky with the heat of the burner
When the pilot fires up the burner, the balloon slowly lifts into the sky. Steep limestone cliffs, hidden caves and small villages unfold before your eyes.
Enjoy 360-degree views of Vang Vieng for 30 minutes
During the roughly 30-minute flight, capture the morning sun (or sunset) lighting up the karst peaks, the Nam Song River winding through green rice fields, and a golden pagoda. After the flight, you'll receive a balloon flight certificate and return to your hotel by tuk-tuk in about 15 minutes.
