Meet the sunset on the Mekong
aboard a two-deck wooden boat

You are picked up by tuk-tuk from your hotel in Luang Prabang's Old Town and taken to the pier, where you board a traditional two-deck wooden boat and sail along the Mekong River for about 2 hours. The cruise departs at 4:30 PM local time, and an English-speaking host accompanies you. Return transfer to your hotel after the cruise is not included.

Relax in the outdoor viewing area

The boat has comfortable seating and an outdoor lounge decorated in tropical style. Listen to the flowing water, feel the river breeze and watch riverside villages and lush forests drift by.

Enjoy a cocktail and snacks

A welcome drink of a local signature cocktail or a non-alcoholic drink is served, along with light snacks or local delicacies.

Capture the golden sky and mountain reflections

As the sun sets, the sky turns gold, orange and pink, and the distant mountains are reflected in the river. Capture the changing light on the Mekong from sunset until the first stars appear.
