Program
Ride a deluxe coach
to Meiji Jingu and the Imperial Palace
Depart from the Shinjuku LOVE Sculpture or Matsuya Ginza and travel by air-conditioned coach. After passing Kabukicho, famous for its izakaya streets, you first spend about 1 hour at Meiji Jingu, a forest-surrounded shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji.
Pass Harajuku, the Omotesando shopping street and the National Diet Building, built in 1936, before stopping at the Imperial Palace. On the former site of Edo Castle, still home to the imperial family, you visit either the East Gardens or Nijubashi Bridge for about 30 minutes.
Taste matcha and enjoy free time in Asakusa
Pass Akihabara, Ueno and Kappabashi Street, lined with kitchenware shops selling dishes, knives and food samples, and arrive in Asakusa. Taste mild matcha made from first-flush (ichibancha) tea from Uji, Kyoto, or choose matcha gelato or matcha beer.
With the lunch option, you eat a set of Japanese fried chicken (karaage) and tofu made fresh in-house every day at an izakaya. During about 1 hour of free time, you can shop on Nakamise Street and take photos at Kaminarimon with its red lantern.
Go up the Skytree observatory and take a Tokyo Bay cruise
Spend about 1.5 hours at Tokyo Skytree and Solamachi shopping mall. Enjoy priority entry to the 350 m Tembo Deck observatory and look out over the city.
After a short stop in Odaiba, the last activity is a Tokyo Bay cruise passing under the Rainbow Bridge with views of Tokyo's skyscrapers. After the cruise, the coach takes you back to Shinjuku.

※ On Tuesdays, you visit the Fukagawa Edo Museum or Hamarikyu Gardens instead of the cruise. The same applies when the cruise does not run due to high tide or technical maintenance.
