Ride a scooter through the streets of Nha Trang

On this food tour of about 4 hours, you ride on the back of a scooter driven by a local guide and explore Nha Trang's neighborhoods in the evening. Stop at five or more places, including family-run eateries and stalls only locals know, to taste six or more dishes and drinks while hearing the cultural stories behind them. In the sample itinerary, hotel pickup is at 5:30 PM and you return to your hotel around 9:30 PM.

Start with Nha Trang noodle soup and fresh bánh xèo

First, taste Nha Trang's signature noodle soup at a small family-run eatery. Choose fresh fish, beef or crab, served with plenty of herbs and crunchy vegetables.

Next, try bánh xèo straight from the pan. Fillings such as shrimp, squid and mushrooms can be adjusted to your taste; wrap it in herbs and dip it in sauce.

Enjoy a street food combo and grilled specialties

At a stall locals have visited for years, try green papaya salad topped with homemade beef jerky, served with shrimp crackers and a fresh soy milk drink.

Then taste central Vietnamese grilled dishes such as nem nướng (grilled pork sausage) wrapped in rice paper, or beef grilled in betel leaves.

Finish with sweet local desserts

End the evening with local desserts such as candied palm seeds in coconut milk, seasonal tropical fruit, or sweet soup with longan and lotus seeds. After the tour, you are taken back to your hotel by scooter.
