Explore Paradise Cave and Dark Cave
in Phong Nha-Ke Bang from Hue
You will be picked up from your accommodation in central Hue at 4:30 AM and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Around 7:20 AM, you stop briefly at the operator's office in Dong Hoi to rest.
You visit Paradise Cave in the morning, then Dark Cave and the Chay River area in the afternoon after lunch, returning to Hue around 8:40 PM. An English- or Vietnamese-speaking guide accompanies you all day.
Admire the towering stalactites of Paradise Cave
Arriving at Paradise Cave around 9:30 AM, you ride an electric cart for 1.6km through the forest and then walk up the steps to the cave entrance.
Inside the cave, follow the wooden boardwalk past towering stalactites, stalagmites and unique limestone formations. Afterwards, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch and a break at a local restaurant in Phong Nha.
Enjoy water activities and ziplining at Dark Cave
From 1:30 PM, the experience depends on your option. The basic option includes kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and swimming on the Chay River, without the zipline or mud bath.
With the full option, you fly over the Chay River on a 400m double-wire zipline, enter Dark Cave and explore it by headlamp. You can also enjoy the natural mud bath inside the cave, kayaking, swimming and a short zipline.
Return to Hue in a comfortable vehicle
Around 4 PM you head to Dong Hoi, then depart for Hue at 5 PM, arriving around 8:40 PM. Depending on your option, you can be dropped off in Phong Nha or Dong Hoi instead of Hue.
Guests who have checked out can store their luggage at the storage room or in the vehicle, which is convenient if you are moving on to your next destination.
