Depart from Hue to see
Phong Nha Cave and Quang Tri's historic sites in a day
After hotel pickup in Hue, travel by premium vehicle to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park on this roughly 13-hour tour. On the way, visit La Vang Holy Land in Quang Tri Province, Hien Luong Bridge and the Ben Hai River, and after lunch take a boat on the Son River to explore Phong Nha Cave. You return to your hotel in Hue in the evening.
Stop at La Vang Holy Land and Hien Luong Bridge
La Vang Holy Land is a nationally designated sacred site in Quang Tri Province and an important pilgrimage destination for Vietnamese Catholics. Next, stop at Hien Luong Bridge and the Ben Hai River for photos while your guide explains their historical significance.
Ride a dragon boat on the Son River after lunch
After lunch and a short rest at a local restaurant, board a dragon boat on the Son River. About 25 minutes along the river brings you to the entrance of Phong Nha Cave.
Admire the formations of Phong Nha Cave
Spend about 2 hours exploring Phong Nha Cave and admiring rock formations with names like "Lion", "Fairy Cave", "Royal Palace" and "Buddha". After the cave, return to Hue by vehicle.
