Walk through the Imperial City and Forbidden City

Built from 1804 to 1833 by Gia Long and Minh Mang, the first two kings of the Nguyen Dynasty, the Imperial City was the economic, cultural and political center of the royal court. Spend about 2 hours 15 minutes walking freely past the Flag Tower, the Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Nine Dynastic Urns and the Forbidden City.
Enjoy Thien Mu Pagoda and a Perfume River dragon boat

Started in 1601 by Nguyen Hoang, Thien Mu Pagoda is the oldest and most famous pagoda in Hue, named after a legend of a heavenly lady seen on the hill. After visiting the pagoda, ride a private dragon boat along the Perfume River for about 30 minutes and enjoy the riverside scenery.

Depending on your option, visit the 15-hectare Tomb of Minh Mang, begun by Emperor Minh Mang and completed by his son Thieu Tri, the 12-hectare Tomb of Tu Duc, where the emperor sometimes lived and worked, and the unique Tomb of Khai Dinh, blending Eastern and European styles. You spend about 30 to 45 minutes at each tomb.
