This is an admission ticket to Ishigaki Yaima Village, a folk village in Nagura, Ishigaki, Okinawa. Walk among relocated red-tiled houses and feel the atmosphere of old Okinawa and Yaeyama.

Hours of use are 09:00–17:30, with last admission at 17:00.

Traditional Ryukyu houses and daily life

The relocated red-tiled houses introduce the daily life, traditional crafts and performing arts of the time. Staff in Ryukyu costumes greet visitors with sanshin music.

Try playing Ryukyu instruments or watch traditional music and dance performances to experience island culture up close.

Views in nature and small animals

The village sits on a terrace with sweeping views, surrounded by rich nature. In a peaceful setting of tropical greenery, you can also see small animals such as squirrel monkeys.

A restaurant serving local dishes

The village restaurant MOTONORA serves dishes made with plenty of local ingredients, such as Yaeyama soba and Ishigaki beef soup. It is popular with locals as well as visitors (meals not included).
