Mount Bromo gets very crowded in the morning with travelers who come for the sunrise. This tour visits Bromo later in the morning or in the afternoon so you can explore without the crowds. You are picked up from your hotel lobby in Malang and travel about 2 hours by jeep, accompanied by an English-speaking host.
See villages and the crater on the panorama tour
The panorama tour runs from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, passing through a village of the Tengger people, the indigenous people of Bromo, and visiting the Whispering Sands (Pasir Berbisik) and the Bromo crater. You also take in panoramic views of the Bromo area from the mountain.
Add afternoon Bromo, the sunset and a waterfall
The sunset tour departs at 11:00 AM and returns to Malang at 7:00 PM, letting you enjoy the quiet afternoon scenery of Bromo and the sunset. The waterfall options visit either Coban Pelangi Waterfall via the Malang route or Madakaripura Waterfall via the Probolinggo route, departing between 10:00 and 11:00 AM and returning to Malang around 7:00–8:00 PM.
