In this class, a local chef guides you as you cook traditional Balinese dishes at a cooking studio in Sanur. Join the morning class (09:00–13:00) with a market tour or the afternoon class (14:00–17:00) without a market tour, depending on your booking. You start with a welcome drink, and after the class you enjoy lunch or dinner made from the dishes you cooked.

Pick fresh ingredients at a traditional market

The morning class begins with a visit to a local traditional market. Choose fresh ingredients for your dishes and learn about the herbs and spices essential to Balinese cooking.

Make signature Balinese dishes with your instructor

At the cooking studio, a friendly instructor walks you through each step. You will make authentic dishes such as ayam betutu, sate lilit, pepes tempeh and tofu, and the sweet dessert dadar gulung. All ingredients and utensils are provided.

Enjoy a meal of your own cooking

Share and taste the dishes you made in a warm local atmosphere. You also receive a recipe booklet so you can recreate the dishes at home.
