Bali Munduk Tamblingan Lake Jungle Trek & Traditional Canoe Private Tour

This was a nice activity to do when you don’t have a full day. The tour guide Melly was fantastic. She went at a reasonable pace, stopped every so often, was very informative about the area and answered lots of questions. Thank you! The canoeing was only short, we thought it may be a bit longer. We enjoyed the experience.

I found the trek challenging . Going down 400 plus slippery steps without a hand rail was a daunting task for a 92 year old with a lifetime trekking experience in the Himalayas . Thereafter a climb on a jungle track which was an obstacle course with tree roots, stepping stones and slippery slopes was too much for me and we retraced our steps down to the lake for the sublime canoeing across a 2 kms stretch of the enchanting lake. I could just sit back and soak in the atmosphere. Despite the difficulties I rate the experience as excellent . The jungle ambience, and the breathtaking Tamglingan lake surrounded by mountains remains unforgettable. Above all the services of a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful and pleasant guide made this - perhaps my last trek, memorable.

Nous avons réservé pour 4 personnes. Rdv à 9h30 au point de depart, la randonnée s'est très bien passée. Pas de difficultés. Le guide nous a donné des informations sur la vegétation tout au long de la ballade et à été bienveillant pour notre sécurité et confort. Je retire 1 étoile car nous sommes venus avec notre voiture de location et le point de départ est différent du point d'arrivée, nous avons dû payer un complément de 100 00 roupies pour qu'un chauffeur nous ramène au point de départ. Ce point n'est mentionné nul part dans les informations de réservation et se rajoute à nos 80euros payés. mise à part ça c'était un très bon moment.

Our guide was absolutely lovely and had excellent knowledge about the local area, plants and animals. The trek was downhill and very easygoing and the lake canoe was peaceful. All in all, a very relaxing time. It would have been great to have a bit better knowledge and information about the starting and ending points and recommendations on the best way to book transport. The guides were so good at helping us because we got a bit stuck, but I think clearer information would have been good.
