Ride the rapids of the Ayung River
in Ubud, Bali, with Sobek

Sobek pioneered white water rafting in Indonesia in the 1980s and has been known for safety and quality for over 20 years. Start at the Sobek Begawan Camp, raft about 11 km down the Ayung River for around 2 hours, and finish at Kedewatan Village. Morning (09:30 start) and afternoon (14:00 start) trips are available, and international options come with or without hotel transfer.

Safety briefing, then off to the rapids

At Begawan Camp, experienced guides give a thorough safety briefing and provide all the necessary safety equipment. Once geared up, board the raft with your guide and paddle through the twists and turns of the Ayung River.

Pass jungle, rice paddies and waterfalls

Bali's lush jungle, rice paddies and cascading waterfalls line the river. The rapids are gentle and manageable enough for first-time rafters and families.

Finish with ginger tea, a shower and buffet lunch

After returning your equipment at the finish point in Kedewatan Village, enjoy hot ginger tea. Freshen up at the shower facilities with towel and liquid soap, then have a buffet lunch at the Sobek Restaurant.
