Ride the rapids of the Telaga Waja River

The Telaga Waja rafting trip starts at the Sobek start point in Rendang, in the foothills of Mount Agung. After a safety and equipment briefing, you paddle about 14 km with your guide over 2.5 hours. Rafting starts daily at 9:30 AM, and afterwards you shower and enjoy a buffet lunch at the restaurant. International options with transport include hotel pickup from Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Sanur and Ubud.

A thrilling run through rapids and gorges

From the first set of rapids, you rush through white spray past steep banks and ancient hanging trees. Your guide gives instructions as you navigate torrents, tight turns and narrow gorges together. At the final challenge, the water dam, take a deep breath and down you go.

Terraced rice fields and hidden waterfalls

Terraced rice fields line the river, and hidden waterfalls cascade into it along the way. Take in the untouched scenery of East Bali from the water.

Finish with a shower and buffet lunch

At the finish point in Banjar Tabu, return your equipment and use the shower facilities with towels and liquid soap. Wrap up with a buffet lunch and drinking water at the restaurant. Medical insurance (ages 7 to 65) is included.
