Ride a longtail boat
to the raft house on Cheow Lan Lake
On day 1, you are picked up from your hotel in Khao Sok town between 9:00 and 9:30 AM and transferred to Cheow Lan Pier (Ratchaprapha Dam). Around 11:00 you board a traditional longtail boat and cross the lake, admiring limestone peaks including Khao Sam Klur, known as the 'Guilin of Thailand'. After checking in at the floating raft house, enjoy free time swimming, kayaking or sunbathing, and have lunch at the floating restaurant.
Explore Diamond Cave or Coral Cave
In the afternoon you explore one cave depending on the option you booked. Diamond Cave (Pra Kay Petch Cave) is reached without a jungle trek, and the mineral crystals in its walls sparkle like diamonds in torchlight among stalactites and stalagmites. Coral Cave (Pakarang Cave) is reached by a jungle trek of about 2.5 km; after looking at the stalactites and stalagmites inside, you walk back past the lagoon to the longtail boat.
See the lake on evening and dawn boat safaris
After the cave, take a longtail boat around the lake at dusk to see the limestone mountains and rainforest. Back at the raft house, relax, have dinner by the lake and spend the night in a room with a fan and private bathroom. On day 2 at 6:30 AM, head out on a morning safari of about an hour at sunrise to see the misty lake and look for wildlife.
Return to the pier after breakfast for lunch
Have breakfast at the raft house at 8:00 AM and check out between 9:00 and 9:30. Cross the lake by longtail boat for about 45 to 60 minutes to the pier, then drive to a local restaurant for lunch. You arrive back at your hotel in Khao Sok around 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, where the tour ends.

※ If the national park closes Coral Cave for safety reasons, the visit changes to Diamond Cave.
