Great tour with Javed. He was really knowledgeable about the area and gave good insights about people living and working here. Would recommend.

I joined the Mumbai: Dharavi – Asia’s Largest Slum Tour on March 14, 2026 at 17:30. My guide, Bharti, arrived on time, was very informative, and spoke excellent English. She explained everything clearly and gave deep insight into how Dharavi actually works beyond common stereotypes. Walking through the narrow lanes, I saw a wide range of small-scale industries that keep the area alive. There were sections dedicated to plastic recycling, where waste is sorted, cleaned, and processed into reusable materials. I also observed metal recycling, soap production (including supplies for Dhobi Ghat), textile workshops, garment making, and leather goods production. Each area has its own specialization, often passed down through generations, creating a highly organized and efficient economic system. Bharti also shared how thousands of people live and work here, contributing to Mumbai’s economy in ways many don’t realize. The tour was conducted respectfully and felt more educational than intrusiv

Шикарная экскурсия, рекомендую всем! Гид - местный житель с отличным английским и хорошим чувством юмора. Все рассказал, все показал. Очень доволен. Ничего страшного и криминального там нет, не бойтесь, если вдруг кто переживает.
