Visit leather workshops, recycling sites and a pottery village
Visit Dharavi's leather workshops and plastic recycling industry to see the entrepreneurial spirit that drives the local economy. At Kumbharwada, a pottery community with centuries of tradition, you can watch pottery work passed down through generations up close.
Ride the local train to Dhobi Ghat
Ride Mumbai's iconic local train for about 15 minutes and feel the city's fast pace of life. At Dhobi Ghat, spend about 40 minutes watching more than 100,000 garments a day being washed using long-standing traditional methods, and learn about laundry skills handed down through generations. The tour ends near Mahalaxmi Station.
