Meet your guide at Regal Cinema in Colaba to start the tour. First, stop at the Gateway of India, the symbol of Mumbai, to take photos and hear about the city's colonial history from your guide.

Explore the historic buildings of the Kala Ghoda art district

Pass the Holy Name Cathedral and head to the south of Kala Ghoda to see the area's main buildings, including the Institute of Science, the Prince of Wales Museum, David Sassoon Library, Elphinstone College, the Army and Navy Building, Watson's Hotel and Jehangir Art Gallery, while learning about their history.

Visit Oval Maidan and St. Thomas Cathedral

From Oval Maidan, a large park where cricket matches are played, you can see the University of Mumbai, the Rajabai Clock Tower and the Bombay High Court at a glance. Then walk past Churchgate railway station and Flora Fountain to visit St. Thomas Cathedral, a winner of a UNESCO heritage award. After a short break with a drink such as lassi at a local restaurant, move on to the grand building of the Asiatic Society of Mumbai.

Walk the lanes of Fort and finish at CSMT

Stroll through the small, lively commercial streets of the Fort district, pass the Indo-Saracenic General Post Office and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. It was also called VT station in honour of Queen Victoria and appeared in the film "Slumdog Millionaire". Then return to the starting point by taxi and the tour ends.
