Mumbai South Bombay Heritage Walking Tour (Morning/Evening)

Start your South Mumbai walk
at the Gateway of India

Meet your guide around The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel to start the tour (for the morning departure, meet at Churchgate station or The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, whichever you chose when booking). First, spend about 30 minutes taking photos at the Gateway of India. The morning tour starts early, so you can watch the sunrise at the Gateway of India.

Walk among colonial-era buildings

Walk along Colaba Causeway and through the heritage district of Kala Ghoda, and take photos at Flora Fountain, Horniman Circle Garden and Sir J. J. School of Art. Along the way, your guide explains the history of South Mumbai landmarks such as Leopold Cafe, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (museum), Rajabai Clock Tower, Jehangir Art Gallery, the Bombay High Court and CST station.

Take a break at an Irani bakery

Stop for about 45 minutes at Kyani & Co., a long-established Irani restaurant and bakery. Breakfast is not included, so you can buy whatever you like on your own.

Pass Marine Drive on the way to Mumba Devi Temple

Walk along Marine Drive enjoying the sea views, then spend about 30 minutes at Mumba Devi Temple in the Kalbadevi area. You will see more South Mumbai landmarks along the way. The tour ends around Mumba Devi Temple.
