Have breakfast at Ore on the first floor of the recently renovated Pavillon Dufour. The restaurant is divided into two main dining rooms, a bar and three salons. It serves modern French cuisine that blends classic dishes with new creations, and breakfast consists of pastries, two scrambled eggs, sausage, a hot drink and orange juice.
Look out over the palace courtyards
The restaurant windows overlook the Royal Courtyard (Cour Royale) and the Cour d'Honneur. Thanks to the carefully placed mirrors in the salons, you can see the palace reflected even when sitting with your back to the windows.
Enter the palace through the priority entrance
After breakfast, you are guided to the palace's priority entrance and enter without the long wait. Then explore the palace and temporary exhibitions freely at your own pace for the rest of the day.
