The tour begins at Place Saint-Sulpice in Saint-Germain-des-Prés on the Left Bank. After meeting your guide and getting your bike, you head toward the Musée d'Orsay and the Seine. Ride through charming streets, historic squares and riverside paths to see Paris through a local's eyes.
Cross Pont Alexandre III with its river views, then see Les Invalides, home to Napoleon's tomb, and the Grand Palais and Petit Palais. Pass Place de la Concorde, where Marie Antoinette was executed during the French Revolution, arrive at the Louvre and ride along the Right Bank of the Seine.
Pass the medieval Conciergerie and the Hôtel de Ville before crossing to Île de la Cité, the historic heart of Paris. In front of Notre-Dame Cathedral, hear stories about the origins of the city.
Ride through the lively Odéon district back to Saint-Germain-des-Prés, famous for its cafés, writers and artists. See places frequented by Ernest Hemingway and F.
