at Théâtre Mogador
Inspired by the Disney animated film, "The Lion King" musical has been playing at Théâtre Mogador in Paris since 2021. The story is the same as the original film: Simba's journey to reclaim the Pride Lands taken by his uncle Scar. Enjoy the show from your reserved seat for about 2 hours 30 minutes.
Listen to a live orchestra and classic songs
About 50 artists on stage and a live orchestra perform music by Elton John, Tim Rice, Hans Zimmer and Lebo M. You will also hear familiar songs such as 'Circle of Life' and 'Hakuna Matata'.
Admire a stage of costumes, masks and puppets
Director Julie Taymor brought to the stage her inspiration from African and Asian folk costumes and traditional arts. With more than 300 costumes and just as many masks and puppets, characters such as Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Rafiki, Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa and Scar bring the African savanna to life. You can also see the backstage exhibition in the theater.
