through Abisko National Park
This is a guided small group snowmobile tour through the winter landscape of Abisko National Park. You follow the Kungsleden (King's Trail) to Lake Abiskojaure, then cross the lake and continue along the upper Gamajåkk river. Pick-up and drop-off at designated places in Abisko and Björkliden, warm gear, hot drinks and snacks are included, and groups are limited to 8 people.
Get your gear and a safety briefing
Meet your guide and put on the warm clothes, boots, gloves, balaclava and helmet provided. Before you set off, you get a safety briefing and driving instructions.
Two people share each snowmobile, and a driver's license is required. If you share one, you can switch drivers during the tour.
Cross the lake and follow the river upstream
Ride along the Kungsleden to Lake Abiskojaure, cross the lake and keep going along the upper Gamajåkk river. You stop along the way to take photos of the snowy national park.
Take a break with hot drinks and cake
Stop along the route to enjoy traditional Swedish coffee, hot drinks and cake. With luck, you may also spot wildlife in the national park.
※ Wildlife lives in its natural habitat, so sightings are not guaranteed.
※ The tour takes about 4 hours, and pick-up can take up to 30 minutes.
