Be picked up from hotels in Abisko and Björkliden and travel to remote areas away from artificial light in search of the aurora. The group is limited to 8 people, and the tour lasts from about 2 hours up to 5 hours depending on weather, road conditions and aurora activity. The tour is in English and you receive photos taken by a professional.

Travel far in search of clear skies and active aurora

To find clear skies and active aurora you sometimes travel up to 200 km. Every evening is different, and the route is adjusted to the weather forecast and aurora activity.

From September to December you travel in a comfortable 4WD van suited to Arctic roads. From January to March, if snow and weather conditions allow, the experience may be done on a sled pulled by a snowmobile, sitting comfortably on a sled pulled by your guide.

Enjoy stargazing tips and photography

While you wait for the aurora, the guide tells stories of local Arctic life and gives simple stargazing guidance to help you identify constellations. You also get photography tips throughout the experience.

Professional photos are included, so you can enjoy the Arctic night and take high-quality memories home. Thermal overalls, hot drinks and snacks are also provided.
