This city tour takes in Jogyesa Temple, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, Gwangjang Market, Namsangol Hanok Village and N Seoul Tower. You travel by air-conditioned coach or minivan with a local English-speaking guide.

The tour ends in the Myeongdong or City Hall area. Meeting points and the itinerary structure differ by option.

Discover Seoul's traditions at Jogyesa and Gyeongbokgung

Start the day at Jogyesa Temple, the center of Korean Seon Buddhism. Then watch the royal guard ceremony in front of Gwanghwamun and explore Gyeongbokgung Palace, the grandest palace of the Joseon dynasty, and the National Folk Museum of Korea.

On Tuesdays a separate itinerary runs. It visits Changdeokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village, and does not include Gyeongbokgung, the guard ceremony or the National Folk Museum.

Eat and browse in Insadong and Gwangjang Market

Insadong is known for traditional tea houses, galleries and craft shops, and you have free time here that includes lunch. Then head to Gwangjang Market, one of Korea's oldest markets, for street food and a lively market atmosphere.

Stroll Namsangol Hanok Village and head up N Seoul Tower

Walk through Namsangol Hanok Village, where restored traditional houses sit at the foot of Namsan. Then ride the cable car up to N Seoul Tower and take in the view over Seoul to end the day.
