see palaces, markets and hanok villages in one day
Begin with hotel pickup in central Seoul, then tour Jogyesa Temple, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan, Gwangjang Market, Bukchon Hanok Village and Insadong with an English-speaking guide. You travel by air-conditioned vehicle and take part in a traditional Korean tea ceremony in a hanok. The tour takes about 8 hours and ends with drop-off at a central Seoul hotel.
Discover Joseon royal history at Jogyesa and Gyeongbokgung

Start the day at Jogyesa, a peaceful Buddhist temple in the heart of Seoul. Then explore Gyeongbokgung Palace with your guide, learning about the Joseon dynasty, royal life and traditional Korean architecture, and watch the royal guard changing ceremony.
You can rent a hanbok before entering the palace, but this is optional and not included in the price. If you do not wear a hanbok, you will walk around Gwanghwamun Square. On Tuesdays, when Gyeongbokgung is closed, the tour visits Changdeokgung Palace instead.
Taste street food at Gwangjang Market
and head up Namsan

At Gwangjang Market, one of the oldest and largest traditional markets in Seoul, your guide leads you through local Korean foods such as mung bean pancakes, rice cakes and Korean donuts.
Ride the Namsan cable car to the top for views over Seoul and see N Seoul Tower from the outside. You can also visit the Love Locks area, where couples attach padlocks.
Walk through Bukchon Hanok Village and try a tea ceremony in a hanok

In Bukchon Hanok Village, a neighborhood of traditional Korean houses, walk the prettiest alleys and take photos. Then a tea expert demonstrates the traditional Korean tea ceremony in a hanok, and you can try it yourself. Traditional tea snacks are served to every participant.
Finally, stroll through Insadong, known for its galleries and antique shops. At a small workshop you can watch yeot-gangjeong, a royal dessert, being made and try samples, then have free time to browse crafts and souvenirs.
※ Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesdays, so the tour visits Changdeokgung Palace that day.
