This walking tour covers Gangnam's royal tombs, a Buddhist temple and a modern library in one outing. You meet a live tour guide who speaks English or Chinese at Exit 10 of Seolleung Station, then walk for about 3 hours 30 minutes through Seonjeongneung, Bongeunsa Temple, the 'Gangnam Style' statue and the Starfield Library in COEX Mall. The Seonjeongneung entrance fee and one bottle of water per person are included, and the tour ends at COEX in Samseong-dong.

Stroll through the royal tombs at Seonjeongneung

The first stop is Seonjeongneung, a royal tomb site with 600 years of history. In the middle of the city, surrounded by high-rise buildings, you walk quiet paths through the tomb grounds for about 1 hour while your guide explains. You also hear how this sacred royal area turned into a hub of K-pop culture.

Visit Bongeunsa, a temple among the skyscrapers

The walk from Seonjeongneung to Bongeunsa takes about 20 minutes. At Bongeunsa, set among tall buildings, you spend about 1 hour among leafy paths and a calm temple atmosphere, and see how Buddhist tradition meets the modern city.

Meet the 'Gangnam Style' statue and Starfield Library

After leaving Bongeunsa, you have about 15 minutes to take photos in front of the 'Gangnam Style' statue. Then you spend about 45 minutes at the Starfield Library in COEX Mall, looking at its towering bookshelves and taking photos.
