About the Host

Highlights

A one-hour tour to snorkel with an instructor in the clear water of Shigira Beach in Miyakojima. With a small group of up to 5 people, the instructor stays close and guides you to where sea turtles and tropical fish live. The instructor films photos and videos with a GoPro throughout the tour, and you can download them for free afterwards. Flotation gear is provided for weaker swimmers, so it is great for beginners and families with children.

Program

Meet your instructor at Shigira Beach and get ready to snorkel

Meet your instructor at the Shigira Beach parking lot, receive your snorkeling gear and get ready. You start in shallow water so you can get used to the gear and the sea at your own pace. Flotation gear is provided for those who are not confident swimmers.

Swim with your instructor in search of sea turtles and tropical fish

Your instructor leads you to good snorkeling spots and helps you find sea turtles and tropical fish. In a small group of up to 5 people, the instructor keeps a close and safe eye on you.

Capture memories with GoPro photos and videos

Your instructor films photos and videos with a GoPro throughout the tour, so you can focus on the experience without worrying about a camera. After the tour, you can download the photos and videos for free.

※ Sea turtles and tropical fish live in the wild, so sightings are not guaranteed.
